"I love keeping up with myself."
Brontre is a second-year computer information systems student at Florida A&M University. He also works part-time at Jimmy Jazz.

The youngest in his family, Brontre grew up with two older half brothers. Though he claims to make a good southern meal, his favorite meal to cook is baked chicken alfredo.
To Brontre, being an adult means dealing with more heavily weighted problems
A passion of his is making sure others are okay.
"I don't think I'm a full adult. I'm trying to find my way."
What's something you're stressing about right now?
These tests that came up and trying to balance work an school at the same time.
What do you want to accomplish in the next year?
Be more academically stable, mentally stable, and financially stable and more spiritually connected.
Describe your morning routine.
I wake up but I don't get up. I take my shower, brush my teeth, and if I have time, I eat.
If you could be anywhere right now doing anything, where would you go? what would you do?
I'd go home. I've been feeling homesick. I'm a momma's boy! I miss my mom.

Tramia is passionate about dance; modern, ballet, and contemporary. She doesn't dance anymore, however, because she'd rather focus on school.

She also likes to paint in her free time.
Coming from a single mom household, Tramia came to FAMU because she wanted to get out of Atlanta and into an HBCU. At FAMU, she studies computer science.

What's something you're stressing about right now?
Midterms. I have 3 this week.
What do you want to accomplish in the next year?
I wanna be able to not rely on my parents for everything financially.
Describe your morning routine.
When I wake up, after my alarm goes off, i check twitter. I don't eat breakfast, I just go to class.
If you could be anywhere right now doing anything, where would you go? what would you do?
I would be at home, taking care of my neice.
Nia studies psychology at Florida A&M University. She describes herself as optimistic and is passionate about bringing smiles to people.
Nia says she feels like an adult now but is really connected to her inner child.

In the next year I want to graduate.
Describe your morning routine.
I wake up, lay in the bed for like 15 minutes. I get up, fluff my hair, and go.
If you could be anywhere right now doing anything, where would you go? what would you do?
I would be in Italy, sitting on a porch, drinking tea.

Jalen is a first-year pharmacy student. Some advice he'd give to those entering college is to study! parties will always be there.
jalen is passionate about basketball because of the adrenaline and excitement. He no longer plays because of a knee injury.
What's something you're stressing about right now?
Calculus.
What do you want to accomplish in the next year?
Maintain my scholarship.

Wake up, brush my teeth. I don't really eat breakfast like that.
If you could be anywhere right now doing anything, where would you go? what would you do?
I'd be somewhere exotic. I'd be in Jamaica, my people are from there.

I press snooze about 5 times. Get up, wash my face, brush my teeth. Look in the mirror about 5 times, probably end up changing my clothes.

I'd be traveling to Jamaica, exploring.

I stop my alarm and I put some calming music on. Then do my hair and put my clothes on.

I would be back home eating Mexican food in Disneyland.

I'd be here because being here sets me up to be in the places I'd like to be.

Jalon is a business student at FAMU and runs his own clothing line, New Culture Apparel.
Jalon has a big family and even bigger Thanksgiving dinners. They bond by doing outdoor activities, watching movies together, and just talking and eating with each other.
"I'm very passionate about being successful. I wanna win in any way."
To Jalon, he'll feel like an adult when he's starting a family or fully living on his own.
